You can control the amount of your risk in many different ways.  You choose which vehicle to purchase, driving habits, deductible amounts, to buy rental reimbursement, etc…  An area you have no control over is the amount of a lawsuit against you.

Lesson: Purchase high limits of auto liability insurance. You might be surprised how little the increased liability limits cost.  Many times you can offset the premium increase by changing other coverages.
